Isodose window

You can also control isodose displays from the Isodose menu.

The Isodose window controls the display of isodose lines and surfaces.

  • The Units button switches all Plaque Simulator dosimetry functions and displays between Gy and cGy.
  • The Color button switches isodose display between colors and a fixed grayscale mode. The default is a color display. To edit an isodose color double click on the sample color box in the isodose legend.
  • The File button selects an isodose file. Click this button to open an isodose file. You can also open an isodose file from the File Menu. Control clicking on this button pops up a functional copy of the Isodose Files Menu.
  • The Normalize at checkbox normalizes the isodose display to a user defined value (1.0 by default) at the point selected in the popup menu. The default normalization point is the prescription (Rx) point.

The checkboxes in the legend select which isodose lines are plotted on 2D dosimetry surfaces. The Radio buttons select the isodose surface which is rendered three dimensionally in the Setup window.

To edit an isodose color double click on the sample color box to the right of the radio buttons. This will bring up the Color picker.
