When you run the Plaque Simulator installer it will place files in various places on your startup disk. If an earlier version of Plaque Simulator is already on your system, the installer will offer to preserve some of your earlier files. Many of the files created by version 4 can be opened and used by version 5, the main exception being physics data files. If you created customized physics files for version 4 you will have to create all new files for version 5.
Following any installation or upgrade, the Plaque Simulator program will always be in "demo" mode. You can convert the demo version to a full version by installing your license key.
