The Plaque menu of the Plaque window is used to select, load, create or modify plaque models. It also provides additional control over how plaques are displayed in the window.
- Active plaque - Plaque simulator supports up to 4 plaques per plan. The default condition is to allow only one of these plaques to be "active" at any time for dosimetry purposes. This item provides additional control over the number of active plaques and how they are used when calculating dose.
- COMS plaques - selects a COMS plaque.
- ROPES plaques - selects a ROPES plaque.
- BEBIG plaques - selects a BEBIG Ru-106 plaque.
- USC plaques - selects a USC plaque.
- Plaque files - selects one of the plaque files stored in the Plaque Simulator Data:Plaques: folder.
- Load Plaque Picture - the plaque window background can be a picture (instead of plain white). If this picture is a digitized picture of the plaque, it can be calibrated and used to simplify determining source coordinates.
- Close Plaque Picture - diposes of the picture and frees up the memory.
- Drag Picture - provides instructions for how to move the underlying picture in the window in order to center and align with the plaque. Picture magnification is adjusted using the zoom buttons located along the lower window border.
- Rotate Plaque - switches the Plaque window's rotation control context between rotating the carrier, the plaque and a picture of the plaque. Rotating the plaque and/or picture is sometimes useful for aligning a plaque with an underlying picture.
- Show Slots - enables graphic display of slot edges. Off by default.
- Show Pattern ID#s - labels each slot in the plaque with its pattern number. Off by default.
- Show Source #s - adds source ID numbers to the display. Off by default.
- Show Coordinates - adds slot coordinates to the display. Off by default.
- Show Picture - makes the loaded picture the plaque window background.
